A Bit About Me

I was born in Northern Ontario but grew up in Quebec. Our family of five children was raised by a single parent; my father passed away when I was a baby. While life wasn't always easy, we always had what we needed. As a shy and sensitive child, I often felt out of place. My family moved frequently, and to this day, I don't have a place I can call home. I attended school, graduating from high school, then college, and briefly went to university, but  didn't graduate. That's when my search began. I didn't know what I was looking for then, but now I know I was searching for myself.

I married in my early 30s, had three children, and homeschooled them for 16 years. Life then dealt me a difficult blow. For all those years, I identified as a stay-at-home homeschooling mom and wife. Once my children became more independent, I felt completely lost. It felt like I had lost my identity. That's when Reiki first entered my life. My husband was drawn to Reiki in 2008, but for me, Reiki found me six years later, in 2014. The practice of Reiki helped me rediscover parts of myself that were lost, but it takes time and effort to discover who you truly are and the meaning of your life. I am still working on it!

I am a lifelong learner in the realms of spirituality, holistic practices, and everything in between.  I have learned three different styles of Reiki from three different amazing Masters.  I never thought I would teach Reiki one day, but through encouragement and by working hard to step outside my comfort zone, I have been teaching Reiki since 2019. In the spring of 2023, at the age of 62, I embarked on the exciting journey of learning foot reflexology.  The journey wasn't easy, but I'm proud to say I graduated in January 2024 with flying colors. It's a great achievement for me and proof to anyone that with encouragement and determination, you can achieve great things at any age.

My journey has led me to great teachers such as Eckhart Tolle, Wayne Dyer, Buddha, Jesus, and more recently, Lee Harris and Kyle Gray, to name just a few. And to great friends along the way. I learn something from each of them about myself and how to grow in awareness and discovery of the world around me and the unseen. My journey is ongoing, and I keep discovering, learning, and growing. I invite you to my calming space to relax, renew, and rediscover yourself.
