Understanding Reiki

The word Reiki means universal life-force energy - an energy that flows through and connects all living things, an energy that is connected to "the source of all things". Knowledge that our bodies are filled with life-force energy -ki- and that this is directly connected to our health, has been known for thousands of years.
The state of the energy body is a very important element in the health of any individual, because if blockages and damage in the energy are not cleared and healed, they can eventually manifest themselves as physical illness or disease.
Holy Fire® Reiki?
Holy Fire® Reiki is a new form of Usui Reiki which was introduced by William Lee Rand of the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT). It is a combination of traditional Usui Reiki and a contemporary evolution of Reiki. Our Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki classes include the four Reiki symbols from the Usui tradition plus the Master symbol from the Holy Fire® III symbol.
The use of the word holy in the name Holy Fire® is not intended to have a religious meaning. The word holy has at its roots meaning "to be whole and complete" and this is how it is used in Holy Fire® Reiki. Therefore, we could described Holy Fire® Reiki as a spiritual energy that creates wholeness through purification, healing, empowerment, and guidance and it comes from a higher level of consciousnes.
The Holy Fire® III Reiki attunements are done differently and are called "Placements" and “Ignitions.”
